Solar Panels in a Cemetary in Spain
I just heared it on NPR that a village in Spain has come up with a clever way of providing energy to homes in the village - about 60 homes in all. The care taker of the cemetary came up with an idea, that the city government agreed to fund. Each grave has flat surface. So flat solar panels were placed on each grave....read more

In my judgement the lesser we use oil-based plastic the better it would be for the environment. Oil-based plastic, even if it is biodegradable, may leave a larger carbon footprint than would a plant-based non biodegradable plastic. This is a great concept. I've heard of denim insulation, but not greensulate. Anything new to help me pass on this information to my clients of my interior design company would be greatly appreciated. I'm excited about joining this group to learn more about sustainability.

In my judgment choosing a grill that leaves a lower carbon footprint needs to be considered too.
