Zac Efron has been seen sporting OmniPeace clothing, along with his costar Ashley Tisdale, as well as Emma Watson. OmniPeace is responsible for raising close to half a million dollars for charities like Millenium Promise, UNICEF and V-Day's Foundation City of Joy, as well as building two schools for children in Africa in order to educate them and help end poverty by 2025.
Emma Watson not only supports the OmniPeace brand, she has her only clothing line with Fair Trade clothing distributor, People Tree. Emma's line includes products using 100% organic and Fairtrade certified cotton. It is also made entirely by Fair Trade groups by hand, using hand weaving, hand knitting, and hand embroidery to benefit disadvantaged people in Bangladesh, India and Nepal.
No stranger to wildlife, Bindi Irwin has also launched her own clothing range using organic cotton, called Bindi Wear. 100% of Bindi Wear proceeds are given to the Australia Zoo in order to help critically endangered species and increase their protection in the wild. Bindi is also a global ambassador for Wildlife Warriors Worldwide, which aims to protect and enhance the natural environment of injured, threatened, or endangered animals and raise awareness of the effects of green living on wildlife issues.
Hayden Panettiere also uses her fame to spread green awareness in order to help animals in danger. In October '07, Panettiere interfered with Japan's annual dolphin hunt and has since served as a spokeswoman for PETA and other animal-rights organizations, including the World Wildlife Fund.
Fellow animal lover, Hilary Duff, has served as a youth ambassador for Return to Freedom, which is dedicated to preserving the habitats of America's wild horse population. AJ Michalka has also lent her support and raised awareness for RTF and the dangers posed to all wildlife habitats worldwide.
