If you have a particular diet then you know how challenging it can be to find food that fits your lifestyle, especially when traveling. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, local, organic...whatever it may be, it takes time to locate restaurants. And even if you can find something to eat, there's no guarantee it will actually taste good.
Luckily, there are several ways to search for healthy and allergy-free food based on your location. Among the most popular and easy methods, Google Places and Yelp allow you to use keywords to search for establishments in your area and see reviews of them. There are also some great mobile apps, such as Find Green and Happy Cow. In fact, many of these tools are more usual than food related blogs because they're easier to refer to when on the go.
But none of these methods of finding food that fits your diet would be possible without reviews from people like you. Just submitting a few sentences about what food you ate, how you liked it, and adding in some keywords related to your lifestyle (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) will make it easier for others to find it when they need it.
Next time you eat some delicious, healthy food, snap a photo and upload your thoughts to at least one social site!
