The Remainder House, designed by Vancouver based architecture firm, is aptly named for its use of remainder materials. The architecture firm found a warehouse that was being demolished so they purchased the douglas fir. The house is a mere 610 square feet and was built without removing a single tree. They built on a triangular lot and maximized beautiful southern water way views. This house that is tucked away in the forest of British Columbia is a true masterpiece of green building.

This is very cool - and a great photo. Are there more pictures of the house somewhere?
