Glee's Lea Michele will be singing America the Beautiful at this weekend's Super Bowl XLV. Michele is a well known vegan and favorite eco celeb of PETA and it always good to see her get some extra exposure. Michele last sung in front a large crowd at a stadium when she sang the National Anthem at the 2009 World Series with her fellow castmates.
Glee's season premiere will air after the Super Bowl and of course her singing is just another way for FOX to promote the premiere. Apparently there will be a rendition of Michael Jackson's Thriller during the premiere and typically the show after the Super Bowl gets a boost in ratings.
