The Eco-Celebrity Tweets of the Week is a new weekly guest blog from Eco News Network focusing on green celebs and their eco-friendly tweets.

1. Kellie Pickler

Country singer and “American Idol” alum Kellie Pickler tweeted her love for animals in need, especially now that she’s partnered with ASPCA to help these innocent creatures.
 
“Spent all morning at the ASPCA! So many sweet Cats & Dogs need homes! Go see my friends at the ASPCA and adopt one! Or two! ;)”

2. Eric Christian Olsen

Whether he’s on the big or small screen, Eric Christian Olsen is known as the funny guy, but he doesn’t seem to joke when it comes to the environment. The actor retweeted the following tweet showing the creator of his hit series “NCIS: Los Angeles” being eco-savvy.

Pamela Anderson may be known for her wild side and certain assets, but there’s more to the blonde bombshell than meets the eye. She is an advocate for animals, no matter how small the cause.

4. Edward Norton

Known for his love of the environment, actor Edward Norton tweeted this great link in support of Dr. Seuss and his important environmental message from “The Lorax.”
