There is nothing inherently vegetarian-friendly about listening to music, but with the Carrot solar powered portable speaker, you can pretend like there is.
This clever little portable speaker system takes a page from the solar-powered Sony walkman concept, but adds a little more portability.
If you are one of those geeky nomads who love to carry their mobile gadgets wherever they go, Korean designer Sanghwi Choi has come up with an innovative speaker named the “Carrot” that connecting to your PMPs or MP3 lets you enjoy quality sound on the go. Featuring a body finished in ABS plastic, the mini gadget encases the aluminum speaker within the titanium casing to allow the surround sound. Spreading solar panels, folded within the body, to harness the renewable energy, the portable speaker is not only easy to move around but also touts a sleek design for trendy users.
What do you think about the Carrot? Is this a great eco-friendly way to have your music and eat it too?
