The Internet Has Its Revenge on Man Who Posted "Clothesline" Puppy Picture

ClotheslineDog_main_0617.jpgFacebook is a place where people update their status with their latest meal, 10067 pictures of their baby, and their latest Farmville purchase – all pretty boring stuff (let's be honest). But last week, the monotony momentarily lifted with a specific Facebook photo, a photo that enraged social network users to the point of an absolute frenzy. What was it? A puppy pinned to a clothesline with 5 clothespins.

Apparently, a young Filipino man was responsible for the picture. He initially "ignored" outcries of animal cruelty and claimed that nothing was going to happen to him.

That was all before his picture blew up the Internet. A few days and thousands of threats later, as well as an investigation by PETA, the young man took the photo down and wrote, ""I hope you could forgive me and I promise it would never happen again."

What this poor idiot didn't realize is that the internet has the power to literally ruin a person's life in a matter of hours – especially when that person does something cruel.

I still hope PETA is able to take his puppy away and place it with a better, more responsible person – the dude obviously isn't the sharpest crayon in the box – but I don't wish complete and utter Internet implosion on him. That sort of thing should be reserved solely for infuriating reality "stars."
