Well Lady Gaga, is known for doing outlandish things and for the most part I am not shocked at anything she does any more.
However, her most recent photoshoot has me a bit concerned because it is a magazine shoot for Vogue. Yes it is for Japan and well we know their history with Whales and of course heard the stories of sushi being served on naked women.
Yes, freedom of expression and voice is so vital to our world, but I just do not agree with any one wearing a meat bikini for any sort of photoshoot whether it is for artistic purposes or not!
Of course if somehow the article raising awarness about eating healthy or that we should not consume as much meat, then I can see the angle they were going for, but I would still not agree.
Here is PETA's take:
"Oh, Lady Gaga's job is to do outlandish things, and this certainly qualifies as outlandish because meat is something you want to avoid putting on or in your body,"
What do you all think? Is this acceptable??

It's idiotic that someone would take the time to not only imagine this image, but then go ahead and make it a reality, while managing to leave out an intelligent byline so viewers might understand what they are looking at. It feels like a dumbing down of something that could have otherwise had a lot of impact. But maybe ya'll are right; that Lady GaGa and her people really aren't interested in making statements with all her crazy outfits, and instead only shoot for shock value, plain and simple (and simplistic).
