It's Friday, and even though we had a short week (in America, at least), we're still ready for the weekend to come and rock our world – yes? Of course yes. But before we go out and party hard, why don't we take a look at the Nature News that happened over these last 5 days…
Labor day not only gave us an extra day of relaxation, it also brought with it news of new and improved eco-conscious Champagne! We also learned about guerilla-gardening – and seed bombs! – which isn't as violent as it sounds. In fact, it's downright pretty (and good for the earth).
Chimpanzees may be cute, but this week we learned that they're also smart, perhaps a little smarter than their human counterparts. We also realized that Lady Gaga enjoys being photographed in articles of clothing made of meat. Weird – but when is she not?
Did you know that the word "BP spillcam" was deemed the top TV word of the 2009-2010 TV season? It sure was, even surpassing "Guido." (Jersey Shore, much?) Speaking of unbelievable, how about a folding bike? Yes Hipsters, it's real!
You know what else is real? The releasing of happy sea turtles back into the Gulf and Pet First Aid Kits – well, if you build them yourself, that is.
Now that you're in the know when it comes to Nature News, why not pour yourself a glass of (eco-conscious!) bubbly and toast to another week well done!
