Interval training – short, high-energy bursts of exercise interspersed with lower-intensity exercise – is fun and has loads of benefits. In addition to adding variety to your workout it also gets your endorphins flowing more quickly, which leaves you feeling amazing for the rest of the day. You burn more calories. Climbing hills (and stairs) is easier.

You have better endurance, which makes you stronger and faster in every other form of cardiovascular activity. Interval training – due to its intense qualities – yields a heightened immune response. In fact, people who exercise regularly build-up their immune system by creating a “shield” against colds and flu. Another great benefit of interval training (and exercise, in general) is that you get younger. Yes, really.

The benefits of exercise are profound and impact all aspects of your life. You sleep better. You wake up more refreshed. Your skin glows. Your digestion improves. Your attitude throughout the day becomes consistently positive. You have more ideas. You’re more creative. Overall, you’re healthy and well and more fun to be around.
The best part is that you can have all of this in as little as 30 minutes a day!
