fallcontainer4.jpg  Fall doesn't have to mean the end of your beautiful hard worked landscaping.  Bring some of it indoors to beautify your home through the winter.  Ball Horticulture in Garden Design Magazine suggest, You can bring the Nephthytis indoors to use as a houseplant throughout the winter.

You will need a 12 inch round container and plan to place it in a partly shady location within your home.

Plants:

Dichondra 'Silver Falls'

Heuchera 'Harvest Burgundy'

Syngonium podophyllum 'Exotic Charm' (Nephthytis)

Impatiens hawkeri 'Celebrations Bonfire Orange' (New Guinea impatiens).

If your don't have these or want to substitue another ask your local plant center for suggestions.  These container planters also make terrific holiday gifts that keep flourishing all year long.
