If you like clicking for a good cause -- such as supporting the proliferation of community gardens -- then get ready to point and click your mouse. Woodbridge by Robert Mondavi plans to contribute $40,000 to the American Community Gardening Association (ACGA), which breaks down into $1.00 for every free eSeed that you e-mail to your sphere of influence. That's right...it costs you nothing, but your small investment of time can make a big diffence in the long run. The money that you and (hopefully) many other conscientious keyboard clicking citizens out there generate through their eSeed sending efforts will be used by the ACGA to add 2,000 additional new community gardens to the current 20,000 that they've already set up across the country along with educational programs in major cities.

The American Community Gardening Association is focused on greening unused outdoor spaces in urban and rural communities in order to generate a sense of connection and community among its program participants. These community gardens provide a sound, wholesome source of local food that reduces the financial demands of residents and enables them to become part of a greener solution. In order to support this project, just log onto www.woodbridgewines.com, select 5 friends you'd like to send your eSeed and decide on the type of eSeed you want to send them (tomato, basil, radish or carrot). Click and send -- it's that simple. You are then free to repeat the process as often as you like -- $1 will be donated to ACGA each time you do so. As an added bonus, if you decide to join the ACGA, your tax-deductable $30 donation/membership fee will not only score you a one year subscription to Organic Gardening Magazine -- it will also give you access to valuable community gardening information in your region.
