Filling your home and life with fresh grown herbs is a wonderful way to green your life and it's very conducive to healing. There is something very earthy, healing, and uplifting about having fresh grown herbs adding life to your home. Herbs like peppermint, mint, eucalyptus, fennel, and dandelion are wonderful healing herbs that have a wonderful potent aroma and create a lovely artistic green flair.

Hanging a few potted green plants are lovely for the home, but pungent aromatic herbs are healing and some are edible, which is an added bonus. I love to be artistic and creative with fresh herbs in my home. With the vast array of beautiful colorful herbs to choose from, you can have a lot of fun decorating your home with aromatic herbal greenery.

Some of my favorite herbs are peppermint, spearmint, garlic, lemon, fennel, chamomile, mustard, dandelion, and sage. In addition to creating lovely natural earthy beauty, these herbs have lovely healing benefits. Peppermint is a beautiful must have herb with a lovely pungent aroma that has many wonderful healing benefits. It gently aids digestion, naturally freshens the breath, and is a wonderful natural insect repellent.

Garlic is a natural anti-microbial and is a must-have for the colder winter months. I always make sure that I'm well stocked on it. I have close to a dozen bulbs of garlic and I use it for delicious seasoning and natural healing remedies when my husband and I are feeling under the weather. Rosemary is a natural insect repellent and has a lovely natural aroma. It's also a lovely and pretty and adds a lovely pungent natural flavor to healthy delicious dishes.

Fresh sage is a wonderful herb that has a lovely potent aroma that is very healing and adds a lovely natural earthy essence to your home. Indigenous cultures burn it to transmute negative energy into positive energy, especially under a Full Moon. Sage herbal tea is also very good to drink when you're feeling under the weather. My favorite part of having fresh natural herbs in my home is it helps me feel very earthy and strengthens my special connection with Mother Earth. It's a special gift that I treasure and cherish.
