2551467460102347975S600x600Q85.jpgIt's Friday, and you know what that means…counting down to the holiday break and the copious amounts of spiked eggnog you're about to consume this weekend!

While you're waiting for sweet, sweet eggy liquor, why not catch up on this week's top Nature News stories?

These last 5 days definitely saw some big stories. PETA was in the news twice; first adding Guns 'N Roses's guitarist and his hot wife to their list of naked celebrities against fur, and then celebrating the dismantling of a NASA experiment that was going to expose 27 squirrel monkeys to copious amounts of radiation.

After we finally figured out why certain caterpillars whistle (through their bodies!), we learned a few ways to enjoy the frigid weather with our furry best friends.

When it came to the holidays, we were all set with 5 easy steps to make this celebratory season greener, as well as simple directions on how to make a tabletop wreath.

After making merry for most the week, we ended things on a slightly quizzical note as we pondered whether Michael Vic – the NFL star who profited off the death of pit bulls – should be allowed to own another dog someday.

Alright – now that you've caught yourself up on the latest nature news, you can go back to daydreaming about eggnog. ...You won't be the only one.
