It's Friday, and you know what that means…debating between going to a rocking New Year's Eve party or staying home with the TV and a bottle of wine all to yourself. While you're thinking over the decision, why not catch yourself up on the latest nature news from Greenwala?
As we sailed through the holidays this week, we realized that we could recycle our Christmas tree and give ourselves a much-needed vacation from our holiday vacation at a beautiful eco-inn!
We got a little pissed off when we learned that hoity toity Barney's New York was selling real fur labeled as fake and that a lack of preparation might have been at the core of the BP gulf oil explosion earlier this year. But then our moods brightened when we took a gander at the Guinness World Record holding Rose Parade float by our good friends over at Natural Balance.
Now that 2011 is set to hit us at midnight, we updated ourselves on the big sustainability issues we might be dealing with this new year, waved hello to a bunch of wild and wacky new animal species that were discovered last year, and schooled ourselves on how to keep our pets happy and healthy this new year's eve.
So, what's it going to be? Watching all those people shiver in New York City from the comfort of your living room, or dancing until the clock strikes twelve? Don't worry, you still have a few hours to decide…
