This is a sweet simple little craft idea that my kiddo and I were able to do in one fun afternoon with craft supplied we already had at home. You can really get creative with the choice of color, embellishments and design. Here is what we started with:
The Stuff
Bag of wooden clothes pins (I love these because kids love to use them to hold papers, decorate rooms etc.)
Favorite Paint colors (we used acrylic but you can get creative)
Adhesive rhinestones (from mama's art box.)
Glitter is optional - you can try glitter glue for less mess
Paper to cut into hearts
Kid Scissors

The Idea
- Let your kiddo have fun with the painting of the clothespins in any color (Valentines is not just about red ;)
- Once the pins dry, help your kiddo paint their friends names on them
- Once names are dry, embellish with rhinestones, glitter glue or any other shiny bits you may have.
- Cut papers into heart shapes and have your kiddo decorate and sign each heart. (you can help with letters if needed)
- Clip painted clothes pin onto a heart
- Give to friends and enjoy the smiles ;)
What are your simple & fun Valentines Day craft ideas?
