Italian based designer and artist, Raimondi Malerba Marcantonio, has created several one of a kind pieces of furniture. Two of my personal favorites are these well seasoned shipping crates which might have ended up at the bottom of a trash pile. He gave them new life with a few hinges and new legs. The recycled wood bookcase is another example of reuse. Instead of ending up in the dumpster he repurposed that wood to make a unique piece of furniture fit for anyone's home.
