High Speed Rail for Orange County California

HighRail.jpgFinally, car locked Southern California will receive almost 90 million dollars to build two high speed rail systems in Orange County.  The plan in phase I is to build a LEED platinum station in Anaheim, CA using solar panels and high efficiency glass ceilings.  They intend to connect this system to exisitng rail/bus/taxi systems in the area.  The project began in Feb 2009 and hopefully will be completed in the next few years.  This is a well needed addition to the infrastructure of Southern California and I hope to see the addition of convienent rail travel to local airports as well.
