Snapea Crisps are a Tasty and Healthier Snack Alternative

I recently discovered a new snack alternative at my local health food store that I must share with you. Produced by Calbee America, Snapea Crisps are made with whole peas from Canada which are baked. A 3.3 oz bag contains about 3.3 servings and is roughly 22 pieces. Each serving is 130 calories and has no Trans Fat. My favorite part- less than 1 gram of sugar!! In addition, there are several vitamins included in this tasty snack as well as veggie protein, iron, calcium, and fiber.

I enjoy Snapea Crisps as a snack, but they are great tossed on a salad as well. The company is dedicated to making the Earth a cleaner place as they share their slogan "From Farm to Table" on a seperate website. On Farmtt.com, customers are able to search for green tips, check out recipes, shop online, and there is even a "kids corner" for the little ones! And if you think your children will cringe at the thought of peas, think again. My three year old loves this snack too! As I was checking out at the grocery store, one of the employees told me the story of how his children made the yuck face when they saw the word peas on the bag the first time he brought Snapea Crisps home, but now it's their favorite snack food!

The best part is I can stock up on bags. At my local store, a 3.3oz bag is just $1.50! Currently you can place an order online for a box of ten 3/4oz bags at just 100 calories each for ten dollars. You can pick up two boxes for fifteen dollars and all purchases are offered with FREE shipping!

The newest snack to be released-Edamame On-the-go, I can't wait to try them! Go get some Snapeas, you won't want to buy potato chips again!
