A couple of years ago the Green Festival came to Denver. While there I met a woman who makes the most amazing bags. She takes old vinyl signs that would otherwise be thrown in the landfill and makes tote bags out of them.

This bag makes a great gift for the vegetarian in your family or a farmer's market lover.
Lyziwraps are really durable. They are great for swimming or going to the beach because they are water proof. Add a couple of her zipper pouches and you've got the perfect diaper bag, they are really strong making them great for grocery shopping, perfect for carrying camping supplies. They are fashionable as well so they'd be a great purse.

If you're buying one this time of year, why not use it as an eco-friendly gift wrap? Put the present inside, make it look nice with some tissue paper, shredded paper, etc. and tie the handles with a bow. Don't like that also makes beautiful reusable fabric gift wrap.

A lot of people are making bags from vinyl signs now, but few do it as well as Lyziwraps. I don't know if it's that she makes them from signs from the upscale Cherry Creek Shopping Center in Denver, or if it's her eye, but her bags are really beautiful and unique. Each bag is a one-of-a-kind as the designs are dependent upon what signs she can get. So if you see one you like, be sure to buy it because it might not be there tomorrow!
Being green doesn't have to be boring. Lyziwraps proves green is beautiful!
