100 tons of plastic bottles went into making this temporary installation in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Salzig Design's created this temple to make a visual point. There are an astonishing 1,500 water bottles consumed each second. That is 90,000 bottle per minute. 80% of plastic bottles end up in the trash can!
With the SIGG bottles being recalled, I think I am with a fellow greenwala member and I will wash my glass iced tea container and use that instead!
