radishes

back in the twenties folks used to say "raspberries" as a way to dismiss something...kinda like a "p'shaw!" or like today's response of "yeah...right."

i think we need to switch it up and add "radishes" to the list or maybe make it G level curse word. it is a tiny bit satisfying to just spit out. go ahead, try it....see?

the reason why i think this is why do we keep planting the darn things? they grow so well, at least the tops do but suddenly we are left with a garden bed full of overgrown, gnarly and bitter tasting radishes. over and over again. they grow too slow, they grow too fast. they never grow crisp and are hotter than wasabi...or maybe that is just me and my bland bland tongue.

either way, i say RADISHES! enough already...we are done. today, we plant parsnips!
