Soybean Plants as Art

There's a certain beauty soybean fields have, like corn or wheat fields. Where I live, they're often surrounded by rolling hills, and might be in that rich loamy soil right next to the Missouri River.

These images of soy are all soybean plants preserved as art. The first three are framed, 16″ x 18″

Plant life is so beautiful. We're consumed by everything around us so that we don't have the capacity to notice how beautiful it can be.

The abstract and graphic qualities are vaguely reminiscent of what we think of as plants, but the forms delight us nonetheless.
