Most anyone who's familiar with cameras or photography knows and loves how a 35 mm camera works, producing film slide after film slide of original photographs and pictures. Though losing it's appeal to digitalized images and PowerPoint presentations, these old film slides have been recycled into an innovative and rather creative curtain, displaying classic photographs in their original glory. There is no reason that pieces of art have to sit in boxes in the attic collecting dust and losing value. Instead, why not turn your old memories into something useful, creative, and pleasing to the eye. This project, called the DIY project, turns these trinkets of treasured moments into a woven together, intricate window cutrain. If you would like to turn your old memories into a useful curtain, blanket, or anything else really, you will need some aluminum chain-mail rings and a small drill to create a truly unique window dressing that is sure to catch your neighbor's attention and put to use those old photos that still touch your heart when you glance back at them.
