Researchers at MIT according to CNN have stumbled across a new source of energy that is invisible to the human eye. Scientists devised a process to use Nanotechnology to generate electricity. What has researchers excited is that the more they refine the process, the more practical this technology becomes and if successful, it will revolutionize the way we power computers, cell phones and every day electronics.
What's amazing to me is that according to Michael Strano an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering that if you take all of the laptop batteries around the world that sit idle when not being used, it is enough to power a small nuclear reactor. That's why this new Clean Tech breakthrough is revolutionary.
