I've tried the tight hair band suggestion before but I think I just ended up looking like Joan Rivers (plus it gave me a throbbing headache...literally and LITERALLY, if you catch my drift!) ;0

I know... but there were parts that said that you can use half-cup olive oil to moisturize your hair (instead of that drugstore crap), etc. Sorry!

Marce yeah I thought the same thing for a minute. Then I read the article Sumi posted and it is actually very green. I am going to do the chilled spoon in the freezer for my eyes. I need it after a night partying! Nice article Sumi.

I recently discovered that warm olive oil applied to your head for 4 hours will kill HEAD LICE! I know major yuck factor but another great natural use of olive oil! :)

I feel like I just stepped into a chatty Cathy corner -- you girls crack me up. Gwynnie gets a lot of flack for her seemingly holier than thou Goop website, but they say that you should always write about what you know, so in effect, she's doing precisely that...she's just sharing her incredibly priviledged world with all of us. At least she's trying to do something a little more constructive than most movie stars, and the all of the proceeds from her website store sales are donated to the Robin Hood Foundation. It IS kind of easy to make fun of her advice, though, and the "amazing" tips that her dear friends dispense.
