Did Dolphin Try to Commit Suicide Jumping Out of Aquarium Tank?

Earlier today I read an article where the star (Ric O' Barry) from the documentary The Cove claims a dolphin (actually known as a "False Killer Whale") was trying to commit suicide by jumping out of an aquarium tank at Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium in Japan.  I was a little surprised by the article because this was the first I was hearing about this and usually things like a dolphin jumping out of an aquarium tank grab headlines.

I am really torn on this issue because I love dolphins and do think they should be free. I am no expert but I understand what the makers of The Cove were trying to show us and at the same time I have friends that are dolphin trainers.  These trainers (MOST) truly love the animals they are working with and would never be cruel to the dolphins in any way.

However, O'Barry claims the video footage proves that there is cruelty and the dolphin no longer wanted to be in captivity and decided to commit suicide.  He of course has way more experience documenting the animals than me and perhaps he is right.  Maybe this one dolphin wanted out.

If you watch the footage and see the pics below you will see the trainers reacted fairly quick and handle the animal well.  At the same time one of things that I really took notice of, were the other dolphins in the tank.  I believe you can see four others, they all reacted immediately coming over to the tank wall to watch what was happening.  It was like they what happened and were very concerned about their friend.

Well you can decide, here are more images and links to several videos.

I really don't mean to be rude but the English in this article is horrible...
