Home is definitely where my heart is. As much as I love to travel and discover new places, there is something special about coming back to my home. I love the people I live with and the environment we've created. But even as much as I love what I see when I walk through the door, every once in a while I get the decorating itch that I simply must scratch. Without spending a lot of money and buying more new stuff, there are simple changes you can make that can really give your home-haven a new look. Besides a fresh coat of paint in a beautiful color, a quick way to change the look for a room is by adding a few decorate, fun, sexy, beautiful pillows. Here are a few that I found on Etsy.com.

Between $20 and $30

A Few More Eco-Decorating Tips

  • Make your own pillow - find simple design instructions on-line and local sewing shops.

  • Check listings for local swaps that feature housewares.

  • Check local RE Stores for items donated by people who are redecorating their homes - you can find some amazing deals that need a bit of TLC and can live on for many years in your home.

  • Make it yourself - local hardware stores and colleges feature classes in building furniture like shelves and chairs.

  • Check furniture consignment shops and make sure to negotiate for a good price. Remember, if you don't ask you don't get!
