The latest innovation for these dreary times is the "Aqua H20", a pee-cycling device. Designed mostly for drought affected areas, this little device works with both human and animal urine.

The liquid waste is handled via the Activated Carbon which removes both the color and flavor of urine. The container is then filled with fresh, clean, drinkable water.
Now this is the epitome of recycling.

Holy cow. Would I consider drinking something I KNOW was my own urine? I'd really have to think about that for awhile. I would feel totally comfortable watering my houseplants with that pee-cycled water....so that would be a start! Thanks Tracey!

Hmmmm, I'd have to be completely blotto to convince myself that my jug 'o filtered urine-turned-water was the perfect chaser to a fifth of vodka.

I agree with you ladies, I dont think I can get over it mentally that I would be drinking my own urine. Maybe if things were extremely bad and I hadnt had access to water for days.... hmmm...

Pee-S. Even though my dogs and love birds can be a royal pain in the butt, I can't see filling their bowls with pee-cycled water either.

This is pretty cool! But...I don't think I'd do it myself - the reason you urinate is because you don't need it anymore, your body extracts it and thus you have urine - putting it back into your body is like reversing all those things your body worked so hard to do.
