It's the first Friday in September, and you know what that means…in only a few short weeks, we'll be able to eat pumpkin pie for breakfast and no one will blink an eye!
While you're waiting for that amazing day, why not catch up on all the Nature News that happened this week?
The beginning of the week had us thinking a lot about food: what does "organic" really mean (are some people trying scam us?), and does getting a few cows kind of tipsy honestly make better burgers?
Then we moved on to Nokero, which isn't something you can eat, but might just change the way the world uses electricity. We heaved a sigh of relief when someone told us this winter will be easier on our sanity than last year and were completely surprised to read that Snakes on a Plane isn’t just a cinematic masterpiece.
As the week drew to a close, we realized that the newly erupted Mount Sinabung might be affecting our lives in more ways than we know and bringing our pets to work might actually increase our happiness and productivity. We also heard the rumblings of a new oil spill (dear lord), but as the details increase, it seems like BP's mistakes won't be happening again.
Not a bad couple of days, huh? Now go on and sneak out five minutes early…
