More Radical Recycling Inspiration
Remember banana seats? Junk+ion creates clever seating for children utilizing everything from a bike wheel base and back support to pedal foot pegs.
The Tel Aviv based company is committed to reinvisioning waste items in ways that wouldn't normally occur to the average person on the street, like this old chopper-turned-new-red bicycle chair or chair ladder made out of discarded school seating.

These stackable suitcase tables are quirky but also functional since they can conceal the clutter that normally covers livingroom surfaces -- can you say the same of your current decor?

A wooden pallet doesn't look terribly inspiring as is, but who wouldn't find it wonderous as a handy shoe rack -- personally, I'd just give it a few coats of paint to make it look a bit more aesthetically pleasing. As for the old metal drawer shoe rack to the right, why didn't I think of that?!?

One thing is for sure, I never would have thought of creating an earthy rocking chair out of a wooden cable spool -- looks fun, and I see definite opportunities for artistic people to get crazy with their art supplies.

How about these old telephone lighting fixtures -- wouldn't they really give everyone something to talk about?
