Artists!! Red Bull Energy Drink's Recycled "Art Of Can" Competition Is Right Up Your Alley!!

If you know someone who is addicted to Red Bull's dayglow lemon-green metabolistic (new word...don't bother looking it up!) shot in the arm, then start asking them to put aside all of their cans for you.

This might be a good time to help them feed their addiction...nudge nudge, wink wink.

Hopefully, you will be able to accumulate enough empty Red Bull containers to participate in their upcoming Washington D.C. Union Station event running from October 8 - 19th, 2009 or their Miami, Florida event slated for February 2010.

They are seeking the nation's most creative recycling aficionados (aka artists) to devise entirely original works of art reusing Red Bull cans, whether via sculpture, photo, 3D model, video, mobile...if you can dream it up, they want to see it.

You don't have much time to get crackalackin' -- the registration deadline is September 28, 2009.

Their criteria include:

a) best creative concept

b) best conceptual execution

c) best construction

I think that everyone in this community has a lot of practical hands-on experience thanks to the "Choose To Reuse" contest that's been running this whole summer on Greenwala, so why not show Red Bull what you're made of!!

(Now THAT is one impressive bikini...probably not waterproof but still quite a fashion statement!)
