Did you ever think that your choice of skivvies could make a real difference in this world?

When you purchase PACT underwear, every part of the cotton growing, fabric manufacturing and shipping process is sustainable and environmentally friendly...plus, 10% of the purchase price of each item is donated to three different non-profits:

  • Oceana.org -- a global organization that protects oceans and marine life
  • 826national.org -- they work to develop young writers
  • ForestEthics -- focused on protecting endangered forests around the world

Some highlights of PACT underwear include:

  • Fair trade! Farmers and cotton pickers paid a fair price for their organic cotton.
  • All organic cotton fabric manufactured in PACT's Turkish factory happens within 100 miles of the facility.
  • No heavy-metal dyes or inks are used -- all colors meet or exceed GOTS and EKO standards.
  • Some of the reusable fabric bags that each pair of underwear are wrapped in are made out of excess fabric following the manufacturing process.
  • PACT's bright green shipping package (including the shipping label and the adhesive) can go straight into a green bin since it is 100% compostable.

There are three different patterns available for men and women printed on 95% organic cotton / 5% elastane available in three different styles:

  • Women -- thong, bikini and boy short ranging in price from $22 - $24
  • Men -- trunk, boxer brief and boxer ranging in price from $25 - $28

Some people I know will spend the same amount of money (which is nothing to sneeze at in this economy) for conventional cotton underwear without all of the fringe eco-benefits.

It seems to me that PACT has a great concept that benefits far more than their bottom line!
