Phenomenal Way To Use Mismatched Flea Market Glassware

At first glance, this lighting fixture looks attractive enough, but you've got to get just a liiiiiiitttle closer to appreciate the full effect.

Okay, here you go...that's a little better.

Wait a second...is that what I think it is?

How fantastic is that? 250 mismatched vintage and antique glasses anchored into a powder-coated waterjet-cut aluminum frame.
Designed by Francois Chambard for UMproject Inc., this glisteningly decorative light fixture is called "The Nebu" (aka "nebulous") -- what an outstanding statement it would make in any greenie's home!
I've been racking my brains trying to figure out how a DIYer could pull off a similar chandelier without hocking their bicycle and maybe even their three cats -- vintage glassware doesn't come cheap -- and honestly, I've got nothin'.
Sure does look pur-tee, though, and you can outfit it with LED bulbs, too :)
