New Bottled Water Brand Cultivates Your Green Thumb

I'm not going to repeat the current statistics on bottled water -- I think that we're all pretty aware of the fact that far too many totally RECYCLABLE bottles end up being disposed of.

In spite of overflowing landfills and the eco-disaster brewing in the middle of the Pacific, I am still amazed that manufacturers continue creating new bottled water brands.

Glasses of water from your tap are just fine, but I suppose that companies are trying to ride out the wave for as long as possible before it dies out altogether.

Designer Yun Hwan Sung is at least trying to turn something positive out of what has been an ecological negative.

He has created a water bottle packaging system that contains seeds within its base.

Once you've finished drinking your bottle of water, just invert it, fill up the receptacle with soil, add the included herb seeds along with a healthy dose of water and behold a mini herb garden in 10 - 20 days.
I've got to admit, this is a nice idea.
