Eco-Friendly Laundry System Revamps Wash Day With Built-In Levitation!

Remember the Xeros washing machine, a new-tech clothes cleaning system that uses just 8 ounces of water and 44 pounds of reusable plastic chips to clean an entire load of dirty duds?
Well, that eco-dream machine which should soon be on the market now has some stiff competition with Jakub Lekes' Maglev Washing Machine.
Aside from looking pretty futuristic with its spherical drum capable of rotating around different axes, the magnetic levitation is what really makes you cock an eyebrow and wonder if the poppyseeds from your morning bagel are finally going to your head.

Utilizing rails with electromagnets, the unit boasts remarkable cleansing and resource conservation properties since it generates a magnetic field that creates an electric current in the reels of the rings on the drum.
Featuring a water pump underneath the drum along with a built-in cartridge containing detergent which only needs to be filled up occasionally, this machine is supposedly capable of understanding the innate cleansing needs of your filthy clothes.
There are no specific details on when or where this unit will be available, but in comparison to the energy suckers that so many of us have been hanging onto, it seems like this could be an intriguing eco-option. Plus, who doesn't love levitation?!?
