Topic: Are You Willing To Chug On Recycled Water...Even If It Used To Be Yellow?

Most of us are already in the habit of drinking water that has seen better days, whether we know it or not.

Thanks to the magical powers of our municipal filtration system, what enters the facility not so crystal clear ends up exiting a respectable see through shade of "water".

Meanwhile, reports claim that despite the process, the H20 we use is still filled with chemical, pesticide, drug and bacterial residues.

Now, what if the water that you consumed was obtained from your body in perpetuity?

At least you'd feel comfortable with the source...or would you?

NASA's $154-million water recycling system creates a day’s worth of pure drinkable water from urine, sweat, and exhaled air.

Seems really practical, right?

So, what if you could do the same thing in the privacy of your own home at a budget-friendly price?

Greenwalas thus far haven't been too thrilled with the "Aqua H20", a pee-cycling device, but NASA is taking things to a whole new level by converting all precious forms of moisture excreted by humans.

Is recycling your own urine into drinking water brilliant or pure madness?

Please offer any thoughts you may have on why you would be willing (or not) to transform the natural fluids that your body generates into your sole source of drinking water.

You don't think that your very own body has cooties, do you?

Wouldn't you prefer sipping your own totally purified urine instead of consuming sunscreen-and-bacteria contaminated reservoir water?

Brilliant? Madness? You forgot necessity Bob. If the western world continues to waste water as it does the need to drink our own effluence may occur withing two generations. Kudos to NASA.

If NASA monetized all of their technology for public consumption they would be the richest and most powerful company on the planet. This is another example and Mark you are right where something like this needs to find its way to the more mainstream. Nice article Bob. Now if I could only buy NASA stock...
