Patrons Of German Brothel Get To Keep More Green In Their Pocket With Eco-Transportation Discount

How true that it's a small world after all -- our challenging economic times have struck all four corners of the planet and hit even the age-old, seemingly recession-proof prostitution industry where it hurts (um...you can fill in the blanks).
People just don't have the surplus smackers to spend on extra-curricular pastimes, and yet the mastermind of a German brothel figured out a way around this.
Regina Goetz, a former sex worker and current madam at Maison d'Envie, implemented a green discount of 5 euros off the remarkably rockbottom price of 25 euros for 15 minutes of feminine engagement as long as vistors arrive via bicycle or utilize some form of public transportation.
A respectable 10% of their clientele have embraced the eco-friendly offer, and the only proof they have to offer to score the eco-recession discount is a bus ticket, bike helmet or padlock keys.

Goetz says that prior to her brainstorm, she implemented such cost saving measures as purchasing low-cost cleaning products, reducing the amount of time that the cleaning lady was contracted for and taking on the books herself (rather than using the services of a tax advisor) but she realized that she would have to take more agressive measures to ensure steady business and resist layoffs.
Prostitution is a legal sector in Germany with around 400,000 employees, and many of the people under her employ are using it as a part-time supplement to their income -- despite what you might think, many are actually highly educated and work as doctors, attorneys and other positions of regard.
Since environmental concern is on the tongues of everyone across the world, Goetz wisely incorporated her green transportation discount to patrons and now it has made global headlines.
As they say, no publicity is bad publicity. I guess on the positive side, her patrons are really getting a great workout!
