Bio Accessories Spruce Up Any Outfit With One Part Nature, One Part What-The-Huh??
When was the last time you artfully arranged ivy vines in your curled locks or tucked a solitary flower into your lapel, just for the heck of it?
Really...it's been that long, eh?

Too bad, because it looks pretty cool.
Why we continue to rely on mass produced fashion to fulfill our stylistic whims eludes me, but Australian designers Ben Landau and Brittany Veitch could apparently sense a void in the market.

In an effort to provide concrete jungle-bound yet fashion forward citizens with a couture solution to Mother Nature's infinitely free decorative accessories, they came up with their own line meant to restore the yin to our city dwelling yang.
Integrating sprigs of botanicals with conventional (and slightly off kilter) adornments, their collection of bio accessories is not just amusing to look at...I pity da fool who dares to pull them off.

In all seriousness, I appreciate the creative inspiration behind them, but how can one ever really improve on Mother Nature?
Part of Craft Victoria’s Craft Cubed exhibition, these pieces certainly demonstrate the imagination of the designers...and I like the idea of keeping a part of nature close to one's heart (or nose as the case may be), but would any of us be caught dead wearing a botanical Hannibal Lecter mask?!?

At least the face gear above could help balance the ratio of CO2 that a city dweller inhales while navigating one city block on foot. Or maybe not.

Well, at least THESE are a bit more pedestrian (ha -- what a knee-slapper)!
So, what do you think? Will these pieces be the wave of our eco fashion beat future or would you prefer plucking something decorative straight from Mother Nature's garden with no "out of pocket expense"?
