An Extreme Green Landscape Dotted With Eco-Tech On Overdrive

Is this you? I can relate -- I've been there, too. Always holding out for something better on the other side.
I think it might be a symptom of my astrological sign, but the idea that life could be so much better IF... has always plagued me.

"Where The Grass Is Greener" is a series of artistically rendered postcards created by Darryl Chen and Liam Young that document the shiny happy green utopian future that we could potentially have on the horizon.

The cards may seem a little over the top, but that's what makes them fun and inspiring while at the same time also a bit disturbing.

The artists depict contemporary living gone green to the nth degree, but as with so many things in our society, the subjects of Chen and Young's pieces appear to have gone off the deep end in search of their ideal eco-microcosm.

While alternate energy technologies are exactly what our planet desperately needs, in these scenes, they engulf and at times completely overshadow the outstanding beauty of Mother Nature.

Do you think that this is where our future is headed? Does it disturb you or do you think that it is a necessary evil? Do you actually prefer manmade eco-tech structures to the clean lines of Mother Nature au naturale?
