Imaginative Child's Halloween Costume Reusing Cardboard Toilet Paper Cores

Posted by Elizah LeighUser517_level, Wednesday, September 30 2009, 02:23 PM

The very existence of toilet paper causes great strain on the environment, but frankly, it would be incredibly challenging for our society to utilize some of the alternatives that were favored throughout the ages.

For many of us, the very best choice that we can make at this juncture is using toilet paper with 100% recycled post-consumer content and religiously recycling the crunchy cardboard centers....but when your artsy-craftsy side beckons, it is comforting to know that you can sift through the contents of your recycling bin and emulate the inventive art works of Junior Fritz Jacquet, Yuken Teruya or Chadou Yama.

Orrrrrrr, you can get your child's Halloween costume in high gear with this inventive ode to the Rococo period from http://www.papier-mache.com.au/magazine/.

You could even adapt the wig if your child wants to tell everyone that they are in British court dress as a barrister or solicitor (that would be a rather sophisticated costume request).

Can you share any other inspired Halloween costume ideas using toilet paper cores?
