I am an eco geek, I never thought I would call myself that, the picture shows just a small collection of my energy efficient bulbs. I recycle paper, plastic, tins / cans. I bought myself a compst bin, so I can now recycle more and get compost too, I turn off all appliances, and if i can add energy saving devices I do. I like to recycle not only for the good of the planet, but it teaches my daughter how to look at the world differently, and I know when she leaves the house, she won't litter, she will do all she can to be an eco geek like her mum.

      Thank You very Much, It is all about changing the way we look at the way we live, I am happy to do my part, I like knowing that what I do, like cook my daughters birthday cake instead of buying one from the shop, it might seem such a little thing, but all that packaging won't go to landfill, i also run a site called Beg Borrow or Swap, and that is about people being able give to others rather than it going to the tip, I feel that this site has really opened my eyes to what we all do, and as I said in another section, I have now got a compost bin, so can't wait until I can use my own compost. I thank you for your kind words, and sorry for my essay, I am passionate about recycling and being what is now termed an eco geek. I thank everyone for their votes too.
