Atticus the Wonderpup

Atticus is a very active puppy. His high energy has really gotten our family outside and active. We love going to the park and playing around on the playground. As you can see, Atticus LOVES the slides. He goes up and down them all by himself! He has also inspired us to take him on bike rides to burn some of that high energy. We were living green before we got Atticus, but he has inspired us to become creative in more ways to be green. Plastic water bottles have become inserts into old toys to make them "better than new" and torn open toys undergo "surgery" to keep them "living" longer. Old bed stuffing is reused with a new cover. And, of course, we feed him only the best foods (EVO and Wellness). We supplement that food with fresh vegetables for treats and we make our own dehydrated Sweet Potato chews. Atticus gets bananas and other fruits that are overripe and would be destined for the compost pile, even the cut tops from strawberries. We don't waste an ounce! Atticus has been a change for the better in our household by making us more active and reducing our waste (although I sometimes wonder that when I'm picking up poo in the yard) :o)
