Green Alternatives

While we posted a picture of one of our clean-up efforts, we have been working hard to green the summer as much as possible through....

*Committing to an Adopt-A-Park through the City of Norfolk (Barraud Park)

*Committing to an Adopt-A-Spot through the City of Norfolk (Washington Park)

*Offering a drop off for several hard-to-recycle items that would otherwise be landfill bound

*Creating a place where locals can shop for green alternatives to their everyday products

*Offering ourselves as free speakers to groups, organizations, and schools in our local region

Needless to say, we're a pretty green outfit, but we are constantly looking at new ways to further our environmentally-forward efforts which is why we entered this contest.  We desperately want an iPad to go paperless in ringing up customers.  It will replace our register through an app that we've already researched and will offer customers electronic receipts through email instead of paper receipts.  It's our next step in greening!!  Please help!
