We Lived in a Bus!

From March 1st until September 15th my family, which includes my husband and three young girls ages 7, 4 and 1, lived in a 37' Blue Bird bus.  We gave away all our furniture and most of our possessions on Freecycle and we moved into the bus while we converted the inside to a living space.  This means we were basically camping in a metal shell.  The bus was parked on an organic farm and we were surrounded by goats and chickens.  It was very very cold, it was very very hot.  But we learned how little we needed to live with, and I think broke ourselves of the consumerism habit.
