I would get the Gulf cleaned up as quickly and efficiently as possible. Then I would put together a panel of the most informed and creative environmental engineers in the world. I would establish a time scheme and plan to develop alternative energy, which would take away at least some of the need for oil, would create jobs and be much kinder to the environment.
