I had bought this Beetles record at a used record store, but had failed to actually look at the record. When I got home I found the record was completely unplayable. Which made 2 Beetles records I owned that could not be played (the other one came from my grandparents garage) I held onto it for the same reason I held onto the first one, something cool had to came of these. Well, one day I got the genius idea to make a purse out of em. The strap is made out of an old pair of jeans, and it is laced with hemp. I really adore this bag, and I hope you all do to.

Anyone can make these. Just think, what musician will carry your tampons?

Thank you sooo much. As of now all my crafty goodies are packed up due to a dense school schedule, but I am really hoping to launch these and other things on Etsy...maybe after this semester!! I will update as soon as I do. Thanks again.

Your design is so unique and the re-use of old records is ingenious! What can you do with old cd's and dvd's? I've got a box full of them!

old cd's and dvd's make beautiful reflectors for Christmas lights! Just remove the light, place the cd over the chord, and replace the light bulb! (It works best with the older strings of lights that have bigger bulbs, but any string works) You get such amazing reflections off of the cd's! I hung a string of these in my dressing room...the effect was fantastic! I got more light, and it was so much prettier than before!

    For Meena:

I think a cheap clock kit would be fun but that would only take care of one.

I'm glad to hear that the winner isn't necessarily the one with the most votes because it's obvious the one with the most votes is cheating."Winners never cheat, and cheaters never win". Your idea is much more creative. I have no doubt you're the winner :)
