To this end we would like to relate a heartwarming story that has recently saved a family from near death.

A family in Idaho lived in a mobile home for 12 years.  They were extremely sick all the time with nausea, nosebleeds, migraines, skin rashes, asthma , vertigo, respiratory infections and even seizures.  Doctors treated them with antibiotics and when nothing worked thought they were crazy.  One day they saw a TV show about the FEMA trailers intended as shelters for the Hurricane Katrina victims.  Formaldehyde and other forms of toxicity were found in the drywall of these trailers.  This family looked at each other and knew that was what they were suffering from.  They moved out within the week.

When the wife had taken steps to seal up her home from the cold Idaho winter she had unknowingly sealed in the toxins trying to escape from the manufactured home's formaldehyde-filled walls.

This family moved in with relatives and decided to build a "green" home as that was all their bpdies could tolerate.  They had developed MCS, a chronic recurring disease caused by a person's inability to tolerate an environmental chemical or class or foreign chemicals.

As this family was building their new home they had to carefully select building materials that had no harmful toxins...for the mom it was easy as any toxic material would make her instantly nauseous.

Researching they found Earth Safe Finishes, a small mother/daughter owned company in California.  Samples of paint, varnish, sealer and stain were sent upon request.  The family had these products tested against the other low/no VOC products they had chosen.  They painted pieces of wood and placed them in separate bags.  After a week a bioenergetic machine tested them and the results showed that only the Earth Safe Finishes products could be tolerated by the family.  So gallons and gallons of primer, paint, sealer, varnish and stain were sent to cover the inside of this home.  Painting wasfinished and a phone call from the owners said this, "Earth Safe Finishes paints had absolutely no chemical odor and no signs of gas.  I love it, the primer and paint are like playing in whipped cream.  Because the family must live as tox-free as possible the husband is building much of the family's furniture.  He has already built a vanity for the guest bathroom and completed it with ESF stain and varnish.  "It is just beautiful, the stain looks great and the varnish goes on like satin", says the wife.
