I design and build high quality, rustic furniture. I begin by obtaining permits from conservation lands and local towns to collect invasive species. I then go deep into woods where I spend hours looking for vines and saplings of the shape and size I need. I take these home and turn them into unique, functional pieces of art. I make tables, benches, mirrors, chairs, and lamps. All of my materials are collected by hand and in an ecologically sound way. One special aspect of my work is that in using bittersweet vines, I am helping to clear local land of a highly invasive species that kills our native flora.

    Hi Nancy,
    you have my vote!

I love these found furnishings, nature has such beauty, and doing this and controlling pests, drawing attention to them at the same time and being creative is fabulous!

    Great work, best of luck.
